About the estate

The Vinkovič – vinohradníctvo, vinárstvo estate has been operating in Slovakia since 2002 and cultivates five hectares of its own vineyards within the Malokarpatská region. The family winemaking tradition builds on ancestors who were originally brought by Count Pálffy from Yugoslavia to tend the vineyards and orchards around Smolenice. Today, the winery specializes in traditional varieties of the Little Carpathians as well as newer, modern grape varieties. The dominant varieties grown in the vineyards include Riesling, Welschriesling, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, and the lesser-known Kerner variety.
