Based in Basel, the Vinigma GmbH company operates as an independent urban winery producing innovative Swiss wines with a refreshing distinctiveness. The business was founded and is managed by Valentin Schiess, who completed his studies in viticulture and oenology in Beaune and gained international professional experience. The small core team also includes a sommelier trained in France and Japan as well as a qualified winemaker, who together manage the cellar, vineyards, and international distribution. Vinigma stands for artisanal precision and wines focused on drinking pleasure. For wine production, the team collaborates closely with selected partner wineries both domestically and abroad.
