About the estate

The Vinicola del Sannio winery was established in 1960 through the visionary project of its founder, Pasquale Pengue. It is located in the historical Sannio region, a landscape rich in archaeological resources and ancient traditions. Around 400 partner agricultural enterprises cultivate a vineyard area of approximately 1,200 hectares. The soils in this mountainous area are predominantly alluvial, consisting of clay and sand mixed with volcanic elements. The company produces wines from grapes grown in dedicated soils, vinified as single varietals while actively supporting the replanting of ancient grape varieties.

The eno directory lists 37 wines, mostly from Falanghina and Aglianico. The estate sells to distributors, horeca and retail.
