The Czech winery Vinařství Radovan Foukal places great importance on using its own grapes to shape the wines according to its own ideas. The main philosophy is to produce wines that reflect a typical character. The vinification process avoids the use of pure yeast cultures. Instead, the estate relies on long maceration, extended fermentation at controlled temperatures, and the aging of selected wines in wooden barrels.
