About the estate

The small family-run winery Vinařství Fabičovic Josef is based in the municipality of Hlohovec in the heart of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. The family's winemaking tradition began in 1925, followed by the acquisition of the cellar in 1982 and the planting of the first estate vineyards in 1992. Since 2015, the estate has focused entirely on the production of bottled quality wines with predicates while discontinuing bulk wine production. The portfolio includes white grape varieties such as Aurelius, Chardonnay, Rulandské šedé and Sauvignon, alongside the red varieties Neronet and Cabernet Sauvignon, all marketed under the MZV designation.
