About the estate
The family-run Vinařství Drmola estate is based in Bavory in the Mikulovská region and cultivates sixteen hectares of vineyards in prime locations at the foot of the Pálava Hills. For three decades, the winery has specialized in organic predicate wines, with the local limestone subsoil imparting a distinct character to the portfolio. Cultivated grape varieties include Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot varieties, Gewürztraminer, Blaufränkisch, and Saint Laurent. For red wines, the winery utilizes extended maceration and oak barrel maturation, whereas white wines focus on varietal purity and natural ripeness.
The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Ryzlink Vlašský.
