About the estate
The Vinarija Lastar estate cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards in the Levač wine region situated between the Juhor and Gledić mountains. The vineyards lie at an altitude of 300 to 330 meters on clay-rich smonica soils with limestone deposits and sandy sections. The portfolio comprises eight grape varieties including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Merlot, alongside old Pinot Noir vines planted in 1976. Agricultural practices involve strict yield control and manual labor to ensure high quality. In the cellar, wine production utilizes a gravity-flow design across multiple levels, complemented by stainless steel tanks and a barrel aging cellar with French oak casks.
