About the estate
The Vilerma estate is located in Leiro in the Avia Valley within the Ribeiro denomination in Galicia. In the 1970s, the founders acquired the estate, which became a pioneer in the recovery of native grape varieties. In 2024, the Pariente family took over the property and continues this legacy. The six hectares of vineyards are predominantly planted with white varieties such as Treixadura, Loureira, Godello, Albariño, Lado, and Torrontés, alongside red varieties including Brancellao, Sousón, Caíño tinto, Ferrón, and Tempranillo. The vineyards are situated on terraced plots in a region shaped by an oceanic-Mediterranean transitional climate.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Treixadura and Loureira.
