About the estate
The Vignobles Paul Barre estate is located in the Bordeaux region, cultivating seven hectares of vineyards within the AOC Fronsac and AOC Canon Fronsac appellations. In 1974, Paul Barre established himself at the property and became a pioneer of organic and biodynamic agriculture in the region. Today, the family estate is managed in the second generation by Gabriel Barre and his wife Edith. The vineyards are farmed organically with natural treatments and mechanical soil cultivation, focusing on environmental respect. The grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec thrive on clay-limestone and clay-sand soils to produce distinctive red wines.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
