About the estate

The Vignoble Mounier Pierre estate is situated in Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde on limestone slopes overlooking the Gironde Estuary. Jean-Paul took over the family business in 2000 and now runs it alongside his sons Rémi and Luca, encompassing wine production, Cognac, Pineau des Charentes, and beekeeping. The vineyards grow on clay-limestone soils and feature Chardonnay and Merlot vines. The winery focuses on biological pest control, mechanical weeding, and the preservation of biodiversity. Rémi and Luca contribute their expertise as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, as well as a graduate in viticulture and oenology.
