About the estate
The family-owned Vignoble Malidain estate was established in 1954 and is located in La Limouzinière in the Loire Valley. Today, the family manages 31 hectares of vineyards featuring brown soils developed on amphibolite greenstone, which are cultivated mechanically. The entire estate is organically certified, producing wines under designations such as Muscadet Côtes de Grandlieu and IGP Val de Loire. Vinification involves temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, underground vats, oak barrels, and ovoid concrete tanks, complemented by traditional sur lie aging for the Muscadet wines. The estate distributes its wines directly to cellar visitors as well as to national and international wine professionals.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail.
