About the estate

The Uplistsikhe winery was founded in 2019 in the Kartli region near the historic city of Uplistsikhe. The mission of the estate is to revive ancient Georgian winemaking traditions and restore Kartli as a historic center of viticulture. Carefully selected local grape varieties are cultivated across a vineyard area of seven hectares. Winemaking takes place in a modern facility that also incorporates traditional Qvevri clay vessels for fermentation and aging. The portfolio includes traditional still wines and sparkling wines.
