About the estate

The history of the Turay Családi Pincészet estate in Baj dates back to the 17th century, with the family looking back on a centuries-old tradition in viticulture. The current building, approximately two hundred and fifty years old, came into the family's possession in February 2002. Across 2.4 hectares of vineyards, grape varieties such as Solaris, Olaszrizling, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated. The estate operates according to bio-organic and biodynamic principles, utilizing hand harvesting and yield reduction. The wines are produced in the Neszmély wine region through both oxidative and reductive methods.
