The Toppesfield Vineyard estate is managed by Jane and Peter Moore and is situated in the rolling hills around Toppesfield in East Anglia. The story of the winery began in the winter of 2011 with the acquisition of agricultural land, inspired by historical Roman-era discoveries in the area. Set upon a fertile chalk subsoil overlain by clay loam, the vineyards cultivate Bacchus as the main white grape variety alongside Pinot Noir Précoce for rosé wine production. The wines are distributed directly through the website, via various physical and online retailers, and by appointment at the property.
