About the estate

The Tinto Carme winery in Valbuena de Duero looks back on a history of more than a hundred years rooted in an environment surrounded by traditional cellars. The family initially produced wine for their own consumption using limestone lagares and underground cellars excavated into nearby slopes. Around thirty years ago, new small vineyards were planted to revive the family tradition, followed by further plantings starting in 2001. Today, the estate combines its historical legacy with new winemaking techniques, utilises grapes from its own vineyards in the Ribera del Duero, and offers wine tourism experiences alongside wine production.
