About the estate
The Tenute Pietro Caciorgna estate is located in the municipality of Casole d'Elsa in the heart of Tuscany. In 1953, the Caciorgna family settled in this region to continue their farming traditions. Today, the estate covers a total area of approximately 20 hectares, with vineyards at the Osteria delle Macchie cru dedicated primarily to the Sangiovese grape variety. In addition to the Tuscan production, the family's winemaking efforts have extended to vineyards on Mount Etna in Sicily since 2006. Their approach to cultivation is rooted in respect for the environment and the avoidance of chemical fertilizers.
