About the estate

The Tenuta Patruno Perniola estate is located in Gioia del Colle in the heart of the Murgia pugliese in Apulia. The history of the winery dates back to the early nineteenth century, when a family began producing wines from the region. The vineyards are situated in a hilly area at about 350 meters above sea level on the Terre Rosse soils typical of Primitivo di Gioia del Colle. The work of the estate focuses exclusively on the Primitivo grape variety, using the grapes to produce single-varietal wines. The vinification is carried out with the aim of preserving the character of the terroir and the typical structure of the red wines.
