About the estate
The Tenuta Monterosola estate is located in Volterra in Tuscany and has its roots in the ancient La Rosola property dating back to the 15th century. The first modern vineyards were planted in 1999, and today the estate spans nearly 25 hectares of vineyards with grape varieties chosen for both white and red wine traditions. Situated on a plateau at an altitude of 450 meters, the vines benefit from cooling breezes and soils influenced by the nearby sea, ensuring a slow and even ripening. The estate practices organic farming, tending to every vine by hand and carefully selecting each bunch during the harvest. The team is led by director and winemaker Sergio Cantini, while the Magill family holds the ownership of the winery.
