About the estate
The Tenuta Mainardi estate in Aquara was founded in 1955 by Giuseppe Serra and is now run in the third generation by the brothers Marco, Luca, and Giuseppe Serra. Following its beginnings with vegetables, olive oil, and wine, the father Domenico placed a stronger focus on winemaking while maintaining natural cultivation techniques. Marco Serra studied enology in Piedmont before returning to his homeland to restore old vineyards and plant new ones. The winery pursues a clear focus on quality and produces wines under the Paestum IGP denomination.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Aglianico and Fiano.
