About the estate
The Tenuta Cucco estate is located in Serralunga d’Alba in the heart of the historic Barolo region. Established in the 1960s, the winery has been managed by the Rossi Cairo family since 2015, following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The vineyards are situated in sites such as the Cerrati and Bricco Voghera crus at altitudes ranging between 230 and 400 meters. The grape varieties cultivated include Nebbiolo for Barolo as well as Barbera, Dolcetto, and Chardonnay. Farming is carried out with low yields and selective hand-harvesting to preserve the characteristics of the terroir.
