The Silvio Carta winery was founded in the early 1950s by Silvio Carta in Baratili San Pietro and immediately dedicated itself to the traditional production of Vernaccia di Oristano. Since 1972, Elio Carta has been running the estate alongside his father, expanding the portfolio beyond regional wines to include liqueurs such as myrtle as well as various spirits like gin, grappa, and brandy. The products are distributed worldwide and reflect the character of the Sardinian landscape. The operational approach relies on long-standing experience, traditional recipes, and a continuous development focused on quality.
