About the estate
The Señorio de Villarrica estate is located in San Asensio in the heart of Rioja Alta and is managed by the family in the fourth generation. The origins of the winery date back to 1860, when the great-grandparents began cultivating vineyards in the region. Today, the estate farms an area of 110 hectares of old vines using traditional methods. Production takes place across two winery locations, including a facility for young wines in San Asensio and another winery in Hervías dedicated to special wines aged in selected barrels.
