The Sektkellerei Schloss Wachenheim estate looks back on a long history dating back to a noble residence built in 1341 in Wachenheim an der Weinstraße in the Palatinate region. Following the foundation of the German sparkling wine factory in 1888, the company adopted its current name in 1892 and is today one of the oldest stock corporations in Germany. The house's top products are composed from selected regional grape varieties from the Palatinate and include limited premium sparkling wines that mature on the bottle for at least nine months. Following extensive modernizations in the late nineties, the facility ranks among the most modern bottle-fermentation plants in Germany and operates as an internationally positioned company in the global sparkling wine business.
