About the estate
The Sekthaus Raumland estate in Flörsheim-Dalsheim was founded in 1984 and is managed today as a family business in the second generation. The estate farms 14 hectares of vineyards in Rheinhessen and the Palatinate, which are cultivated organically. The focus lies on the classic Burgundy varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, which are used to produce high-quality sparkling wines through traditional bottle fermentation. The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed gently, and the sparkling wines undergo extended ageing on the lees in the bottle. Since 2020, the estate has been a member of the VDP.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to retail, horeca and distributors.
