About the estate

The Sekt- und Weinmanufaktur Stengel is a traditional family-owned winery located in the wine village of Weinsberg-Gellmersbach, with a history dating back to 1846. The estate's vineyards are situated in the heart of the Weinsberg Valley, where great importance is placed on healthy soils and vines. Today, experienced cellar master Horst Stengel and his family produce all wines and sparkling wines using state-of-the-art technology in their own winery. Since 1988, a special focus has been placed on sparkling wine production using traditional bottle fermentation, alongside the creation of red wines through mash fermentation. In addition to its own portfolio, the company also offers the development of customized private label sparkling wines for business clients.

The eno directory lists 28 wines, mostly from Schiava and Cuvée. The estate sells to retail.
