About the estate

The Scheucher winery is located in South Styria and was founded in the early 1990s by Johanna and Gottfried Scheucher through the conversion of their previously mixed agricultural business. Since 2002, Paul Berger has been part of the team, cultivating the vineyards on the Pößnitzberg together with his wife Jasmin and other staff members. Wines are produced from approximately 22 hectares of vineyard area, utilizing both estate grapes and fruit from long-term contract growers. The estate focuses on crafting clear, precise, accessible, and serious wines, complemented by a selection of non-alcoholic juices.
