About the estate
The Sarl Chateau la Bernarde estate is located in the municipality of Le Luc in Provence and was acquired by Vignobles Austruy in 2015. The vineyards are situated on slopes at altitudes between 380 and 450 meters with south and southwest exposures. Clay-limestone soils dominate the higher parts, while the lower section of the estate is mainly composed of schist. These privileged climatic and geographical conditions contribute to a slow and harmonious ripening of the grapes for wines of the AOC Côtes de Provence denomination.
