The Ruiz Monge, Teodoro estate in San Vicente de la Sonsierra has a history dating back to 1870 and is managed by the fourth generation. The small vineyards with low yields are located on clay-limestone soils in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria, benefiting from a microclimate with significant temperature variations. The winery focuses on traditional manual labour in the vineyard and crafts its wines using carbonic maceration. The portfolio includes wines with protected origin status under the Rioja DOCa designation, reflecting a long-standing family tradition and respect for the region.
