About the estate
The Шато Сунгурларе winery in Sungurlare was founded in 2000 with the planting of the first vineyards in the Sungurlare Valley. Over the years, the vineyard area expanded to 40 hectares, cultivating varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Sungurlarski Misket, Muscat, Welschriesling, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. In 2010, construction began on the winery building, which is designed for processing grapes and producing white, red, and rosé wines.
