About the estate

The Винекс Славянци estate cultivates 700 hectares of its own vineyards in the heart of the Rose Valley in Bulgaria. The history of the winery dates back to 1898, when a white wine from the estate was awarded at a world exhibition. The vineyards are located on the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains on sandy clay soils with a distinct regional microclimate. Today, the company operates as a major producer and exporter with four modern cellars and an international distribution network. The shares of the company are entirely held by its own employees, ensuring long-term continuity in production and management.

The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Совиньон Блан. The estate sells to retail and distributors. Export markets include Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom and Slovakia.
