About the estate
Founded in 2006 by Roberto Lechiancole, the Prime Alture estate is located on the initial hills of Casteggio within the Oltrepò Pavese denomination. The vineyards sit at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level on a marly subsoil of limestone and clay, benefiting from suitable exposure and constant ventilation. The team applies a biosustainable approach focused on biodiversity protection, hand-harvesting grapes into boxes, prompt pressing, and oxygen protection from the vineyard to bottling. The wines grow on marly soils containing limestone and clay, and they are characterized by longevity, color retention, aromatic intensity, and body.
