About the estate

The Podrum Vineda d.o.o. winery was founded in 2005 upon the traditions of two families. In 2008, the younger generations planted the first significant vineyard areas with the native indigenous variety Graševina. A stated goal of the estate is also to plant the old and nearly forgotten regional variety Kadarka. The winemaking process involves careful steps ranging from targeted harvesting based on sugar and acidity levels to fermentation in stainless steel tanks or large wooden barrels and subsequent aging.
