Petricci e del Pianta

About the estate

The Petricci e del Pianta estate is located in Suvereto in the heart of the Val di Cornia and looks back on a winemaking tradition established by the Petricci family at the beginning of the last century. Today, the winery is run by Pietro, Marilena and their children, with the support of oenologist Marco Stefanini. The total area of the property is 22 hectares, with 11 hectares dedicated to vineyards alongside about 1000 olive trees. The vines are trained using the spurred cordon system and pest control treatments are kept to a minimum to ensure low environmental impact. The production includes wines of the Suvereto DOCG denomination, reflecting the identity of the regional terroir.
