About the estate

The Muriel Wines company was founded in 1926 by the Murúa family in Elciego, a core area of Rioja Alavesa, and has since evolved into a global enterprise. Today, the estate manages four hundred hectares of its own vineyards and exports a substantial portion of its production to numerous countries worldwide. The wines reflect their origin within the Rioja DOCa denomination, featuring traditional grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Viura, Garnacha, and Malvasía. Alongside historic reserves resting in underground galleries, modern approaches and respect for the terroir shape the philosophy of winemaking.
