The Monserrato 1973 estate was founded in 1973 by Francesco Zecchina in Benevento, Campania, on a south-facing hill overlooking Mount Taburno. Spanning 14 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, the winery farms organically and cultivates the grape varieties Aglianico, Camaiola, Falanghina, Fiano, and Merlot. The soils of the vineyards are characterized by calcareous tufa with multicolored clays. The production portfolio includes various still wines, sparkling wines, and wines from the Beneventano Barbera IGP and Campania IGT denominations.
