About the estate
The Martinez Corta estate has its roots in the late nineteenth century, when founder Catalina Martínez moved from the mountain villages to Uruñuela, situated among vineyards in the heart of Rioja Alta. Over four generations, the family operation evolved from producing wine for private consumption into an established winery within the Rioja DOCa denomination. Today, the family combines tradition with a modern, innovative facility featuring a characteristic octagonal floor plan. The resulting wines reflect the region of origin, capturing the distinct influences of both the mountains and the valley.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Grenache and Tempranillo.
