About the estate
The Marchetto - Basaltica estate located in Gambellara in the Veneto region looks back on a history that began after the war. The family-run winery is currently managed by Luciano, his wife Giordana, and their son Federico, continuing the knowledge passed down through generations. The production focuses on hand-selected Garganega grapes that are dried for about ninety days in a well-ventilated fruit drying room on the estate in Località Coste. Following gentle pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts, traditional regional wines are produced. The portfolio includes designations such as Gambellara Classico DOC, Gambellara DOC, Gambellara Spumante DOC, and Recioto di Gambellara DOCG.
