About the estate
The family estate Maison Peltier cultivates 30 hectares of vineyards in the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley. The history of the winery dates back to 1889 when Denis and Georges Peltier laid the foundations. Over four generations, the tradition has been carried on by descendants and brothers dedicated to producing wines from the Chenin grape variety. A notable feature of the estate is a traditional cellar dug into the tuffeau limestone. Today, the enterprise markets its wines in both bottles and bulk while welcoming visitors to its expanded facilities.
