About the estate
The Maison Bonnard estate was founded in 1988 by the brothers Roland and Frédéric and currently cultivates 16 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Bugey denomination. The vineyards are situated in the village of Crept on the steep slopes of Montagnieu, featuring diverse soils such as limestone scree, deep clay, and clay-limestone with rolled pebbles. The cultivated grape varieties include Mondeuse, Pinot Noir, Altesse, Chardonnay, and Gamay. The winery operates according to biodynamic principles and in alignment with the lunar calendar. In the cellar, vinification is conducted naturally and without additives, except for a minimal amount of sulfur at bottling.
