About the estate
Based in Bad Gleichenberg in the Vulkanland Styria region, the Leitgeb estate looks back on a family history that began in 1971 with the opening of a traditional wine tavern. The winery cultivates around nine hectares of vineyards located in the Katzianer, Forsthof, Steinberg, and Meißl sites. The grape variety portfolio includes Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Yellow Muskateller. The wines are produced according to the origin system as regional wines, local wines, and single-vineyard wines. Today, the next generation runs the estate, combining traditional methods with a continuous focus on quality development.
