About the estate
The Leefdaeler winery has its origins in Oud-Heverlee, where the Colson-Sieuw family began planting Bianca vines in 2008. Following professional training in winemaking, the estate continuously expanded its operations with new vineyards on south-facing slopes in Leefdaal. The grape variety portfolio includes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Gewurztraminer, and Malbec. In 2019, the first commercial wines were bottled, comprising white wines, a rosé, and blends. The estate continues to develop through gradual new vineyard plantings to increase production capacity.

De Chardonnay werd verrijkt met Gewurstraminer, waarbij gekozen werd voor een licht zoet wijntje met een bloemig aroma. Een desert wijn of ook heerlijk als apperetiefje bij warm weer.
