About the estate
The Le Cime Basse estate was founded in 2019 by Giovanni and his wife Annalisa in the hills of Matelica in the Marche region. The winery comprises a total area of eight hectares, with a portion dedicated to Verdicchio vines for the production of Verdicchio di Matelica DOC, while the remaining land features olive groves and orchards to preserve biodiversity. The vineyards are situated in various locations such as Balzani and Grotta Grifoni at altitudes exceeding 400 meters above sea level. Harvesting is conducted strictly by hand during the coolest hours of the day, followed by vinification in unvitrified concrete tanks. The portfolio focuses on this expressive regional wine.
