About the estate
The Le Chiantigiane consortium was founded in 1967 and unites the commitment of over two thousand producers from Tuscany. The vineyard area covers twenty-five hundred hectares, cultivated with a combination of tradition and modern technologies. The production facilities process grapes into wines under denominations such as Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti DOCG, Maremma DOC, Morellino di Scansano DOCG, and Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG. Vinification takes place in the associated wineries, while bottling and global distribution are handled by the consortium.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Vernaccia. The estate sells to retail and distributors.
