The Le Case Matte winery is located in the heart of Messina in Sicily and was founded in 2008 by Gianfranco Sabbatino and Andrea Barzagli. Cultivation takes place on ten hectares of vineyards situated in a hilly landscape influenced by the sea breeze of the Strait of Messina. The production focuses on indigenous grape varieties and the historic Faro DOC denomination, vinified through a combination of tradition and innovation. The portfolio includes wines from the Faro DOC, Sicilia DOC, and Terre Siciliane IGT appellations for trade and distribution.
