Lanz

About the estate

The Lanz winery is located in Nonnenhorn on Lake Constance in the Württemberg wine region. The vineyards thrive at approximately 400 meters above sea level within a cool climate zone on the Bavarian lakeshore. The local climate is shaped by the lake acting as a natural heater and by regular foehn wind conditions. The vines grow near the water on gravel, sand, and end-moraine weathered soils with a southern exposure. In the cellar, the wines are accompanied with minimal intervention to preserve their origin and individual character.
