About the estate

The Lamole di Lamole estate is located in Lamole, a high-altitude hamlet in the municipality of Greve in Chianti within the central-northern Chianti Classico zone. The vineyards extend at altitudes exceeding 650 meters above sea level on strongly draining soils composed of ocher-colored sandstone known as macigno toscano, with insertions of alberese and galestro. The landscape is characterized by historical stone terraces with kilometers of dry-stone walls that create arable space and regulate the microclimate. Spanning 37 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates plots including old vines trained in the traditional alberello system. The production focuses on wines under the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations.
