About the estate
The Labara winery was established by its two founders, Dato Gagua and Shalva Sikharulidze, following their return from the United States. The estate is located in Vartsikhe village within the Imereti region of Georgia, an area once renowned for its winemaking traditions. The project aims to revive local viticultural history and re-establish Vartsikhe as a destination for wine enthusiasts. The winery's name is derived from an ancient Colchian word meaning a sunny area full of life.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Krakhuna and Otskhanuri Sapere.
