About the estate
The La Fiòca estate is located in Nigoline Bonomelli in Lombardy and traces its origins back to 1956, when Orazio Gatti produced the first bottles. Today, the winery is run in the family by son Sergio and grandson Massimiliano, who cultivate their own vineyards in Franciacorta to produce Franciacorta DOCG wines. The vineyard plots are oriented to the southeast at the foot of Monte Alto. The wines are aged in cellar facilities that are naturally temperature-controlled by the surrounding soil.
