The Kühling-Gillot estate, together with Battenfeld Spanier, farms the Rheinhessen terroirs of Rheinterrasse, Zellertal and Wonnegau. Grape varieties such as Riesling and Pinot Noir are cultivated on limestone and slate soils. Farming follows organic and biodynamic principles with the aim of preserving soil vitality.
