About the estate
The family-run Kroyer estate in Winden am See, Burgenland, is managed in the fourth generation and has a history dating back to 1946. The winery cultivates around 8.5 hectares of vineyards on the southern slopes of the Leitha Mountains on the northern shore of Lake Neusiedl. On light limestone soils, both white and red wines thrive thanks to the climate-regulating effect of the lake. Important grape varieties include Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Blaufränkisch. Vinification follows careful manual harvesting and gentle pressing with the aim of reflecting the characteristics of the region.
